- The article focuses on a study related to reading of the 1988 Internet Worm 'Helminthiasis'. Topics discussed include unleash of helminthiasis upon an unsuspecting and unprepared public on November 2, 1988 by Robert Morris; led machines across the country to crash and the accumulation of thousands of dollars in repair costs; and re-reading and critique of Internet and computing histories.
