Abstract

Abstract Process mining offers the potential for internal logistics process improvement using data. While there exists a massive amount of data, identifying and understanding relevant data across different information systems and complex data models is difficult. To address this issue, ontologies can be used to formalize a shared understanding. This paper aims to provide an extended internal logistics ontology focusing the process perspective. Existing internal ontologies are reviewed, compared and merged. Additionally, related resources such as products and packaging is integrated. In conclusion, this paper proposes a domain ontology to support process mining within internal logistics. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
