REDESCRIPTION OF BLEEKERIA KALLOLEPIS (ACTINOPTERYGII: PERCIFORMES: AMMODYTIDAE) FROM CHENNAI, EASTERN INDIAN OCEAN.

The yellow-striped sandlance, Bleekeria kallolepis Günther, 1862, is a poorly known ammodytid fish from the eastern Indian Ocean, known from fewer than five specimens. No detailed description or colour images of B. kallolepis have previously been available.
