Abstract
- The article presents a court case where the Small and Medium Enterprise Consortium accuses the federal government of altering requirements to prove an employee-employer relationship in Newark, New Jersey in 2019. According to Jon Wasden, who is representing the technology association, the short approvals generate the agency more revenue as employers should pay millions of dollars in attorney fees and visa fees as the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services runs on receipts.
