Abstract
- The article discusses 2018 second-quarter net income of 60 U.S.-based oil and gas producers and refiners earned totaling to 14.44 billion Canadian dollars exceeding 2017 second-quarter 6.45 billion Canadian dollars. It states the improved revenue collection owing to several factors including drilling activity accelerated, crude oil production increased, and companies such as Chevron corp., and ExxonMobil Corp., and refiners contributed. A chart is presented related to earnings of companies.
