Abstract
- Extrapleural solitary fibrous tumor, formerly referred to as "hemangiopericytoma" is a rare soft tissue vascular tumor which has elevated malignancy potential arising from the capillary pericytes. Extrapleural solitary fibrous tumors, originating from the spleen, are extremely rare.
