The contemporary library is embedded in a new system of connections that relates it to the most diverse cultural realities, inviting unexpected relationships and competing to creating knowledge through various forms of co-creation by the Web. In this scenario, cooperation between the library world and Wikimedia projects is one of the most interesting and prolific reality.
