Abstract

The article discusses several factors to consider when performing exercises or taking at least 10,000 steps a day for physical fitness. Getting 10,000 steps in a day does not replace exercise, since the latter is defined by intensity. Aerobic exercise can enhance glucose regulation, improve memory and decrease depression, among other health benefits.
