Abstract
- The article discusses a court case Steer v. Secretary of State for Communities and Others. It highlights the objection of a local resident to the development applied by Catesby Estates Ltd. to Amber Valley Borough Council on the basis that it would cause harm to heritage assets in England. The Council refused to give planning permission on the grounds that the development would lead in detrimental alteration to the landscape setting and visual experience across the farmland landscape.
