Abstract
- The article presents information on the United States Postal Service (USPS). During the Second Continental Congress in the year 1775, the postal service assumed official status and Benjamin Franklin was appointed the first Postmaster General. Information is given on type of mail handled by USPS including marketing mail, periodicals, and letters.
