Abstract
- The article offers information on a cohort study which suggest depression as a risk factor for dementia. It mentions association between depressive symptoms and dementia based on analysis of sociodemographic factors, health behaviors and chronic conditions. It mentions use of antidepressants to treat depression resulting in improvement in mild cognitive impairment.
