Abstract
- The article presents a note on Baekje, one of the Three Kingdoms which played vital roles in the shaping of Korea as a nation during much of the first millennium. It was founded in 18 B.C., flourished culturally and was defeated by the allied forces of Silla and Tang China in A.D. 660. The UNESCO World Heritage Committee inscribed the ''Baekje Historic Areas" on the World Heritage List on July 15, 2015.
