Abstract

The article discusses several aspects of the social partnership in Slovenia. Corporatism and social partnership have always been one of the most powerful political doctrines in Slovenia. There existed a developed system of self-managing agreements and societal compacts as a model of cooperation between sociopolitical communities, interest and economic organizations, which was to replace the anarchy of market forces and state interventionism. This type of social partnership has survived in the new Constitution of 1991 embodied in the State Council.
