Abstract

Connecticut is a tiny state, one of the smallest in the U.S. Scenery around the state varies from forests and rolling hills to lush farmland and sparkling beaches. The Connecticut is the state's major river. More than 1,000 lakes dot the Connecticut countryside. The largest of these is Lake Candlewood. Weather in Connecticut can be unpredictable and often varies quite a bit from one part of the state to another. Forests of ash, beech, birch, and oak cover much of Connecticut.
