Abstract

The article addresses the representation of the Lvov-Cracow School of Organizational Thought in Poland concerning the history of organizational Thought. Even limited participation in the world division of labor allowed theoreticians and practitioners from Eastern Europe of that time to keep pace with modern trends of work organization. There are a number of Polish scientists whose professional biographies combine activities parts of divided Poland with broad experience gained at leading world academic and industrial centres.
