Abstract
- The article reports on the management of leatherjacket larvae in British airports. It mentions their capability of attracting birds which block the runway and hit airplanes. It also notes that most airfield maintain tall grasses for deterring birds from landing as well as points out the Airport Operators Association (AOA) and its aim towards sustainable fields.
