Abstract
- The article reports that according to Nazif Yilmaz, senior official of the Turkish Education Ministry's Religion Teaching Directorate, Arabic language serves as a bridge between peoples of the Muslim community. He mentions at the 7th International Arabic Competitions, that teaching Arabic could help revive the rise of Islamic Ummah. It presents views of Omer Faruk Akman, a Turkish student from Beyoglu Imam Hatip High School, on the importance of learning the Arabic language.
