Abstract
- The article discusses the planned improvements of the Chichaqua Bottoms Greenbelt prairie wetland in Polk County, Iowa following the approval of a master plan by the conservation organization Polk County Conservation Board. Topics mentioned include the use of bonds to finance the improvements, construction of a visitor's center, paths, and a research facility at the prairie, and the claim of the board's director Richard Leopold on other facilities to be included in such natural area.
