The article presents a report from the "Archives in digital age. Digital archiving in Czech and German perspective: architecture, tools, results" archivists', librarians', and information specialists' conference in Prague, Czech Republic. Topics of presentations delivered included legal and administrative aspects of archives in Germany and Czech Republic, the open source archive data management software Archivematica, and the use of open source software in Czech libraries.
