Abstract
- The article presents a review performed to evaluate the scientific evidence about variability in audiologists' interpretation of auditory brainstem response (ABR) tests and discusses 2 types of reader reliability namely inter-reader reliability or agreement and intra-reader reliability or agreement. It cites the importance of understanding the possible sources of variability and factors that may influence audiologists' decision making when reading ABR waves to reduce possible errors.
