Abstract

An essay is presented which discusses the two court cases including Hana Financial, Inc. v. Hana Bank and Lexmark International, Inc. v. Static Control Components, Inc. filed in the U.S. Supreme Court related to trademark law. Topics discussed include the cases filed under the Lanham Act; the Court's approach to trademark cases and a difficulty in trademark doctrine; and the Lanham Act dealing with false advertising cause of action.
