Abstract
- The article discusses improvement in the performance of the optimal two stage extended Kalman filter using an iterated optimal two-stage extended Kalman filter. Topics discussed include influence of disturbances such as turbulence, use of flight data to validate the proposed approaches for inertial measurement unit (IMU) fault identification, and influence of the IMU sensor faults.
