Abstract

Imbibitions process is very important process in oil recovery. In this paper mathematical model for imbibition phenomenon in one dimensional homogeneous porous media is derived. Governing nonlinear partial differential equation is solved by using homotopy perturbation method. Homotopy perturbation method is a new perturbation method is proposed. The initial approximation is chosen using initial and boundary conditions in the form of quadratic equation. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
