FINANCING GROWTH.

This paper offers a broad overview of the papers contained in Part III of "The Blackwell Handbook of Entrepreneurship," in the section titled "Financing Growth." The papers included are "Financing Growth: Recent Developments in the European Scene," "Informal Venture Capital and the Financing of Emergent Growth Businesses," "Venture Capital and Growth," and "Venture Capital Financing of Entrepreneurship: Theory, Empirical Evidence and a Research Agenda." Overall, these paper address the research on financing growth in Europe and the importance of informal and formal venture capital as a source of debt and equity for financing growth.
