Abstract

The article discusses the Turkish government's transition from assertive secularism to passive secularism under the nation's Justice and Development Party (AKP) as of 2015, and it mentions religious finance, shari'a law, and Turkey's growth in the Islamic Finance and banking industries. Turkish regulations on sukuk (Islamic bonds) are mentioned, along with infrastructure spending in Turkey. The incorporation and limitation of the Muslim religion and Islamic principles in Turkey are examined.
