Abstract

The article reports on changes in immigration policy in the U.S after the September 9, 2011 terrorist attack and mentions supply and demand in the U.S. It mentions the current law to provide H-1B, an employment based visas, will allow the immigrants to temporarily work in the U.S. It mentions F-1 visas is for students pursuing higher education. Topics includes the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 and establishment of U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
