Abstract

The article discusses a study on intrasomal corneal ring segment (ICRS) implantation as a treatment for corneal ectasia after refractive surgery. Topics discussed include inclusion of patients with ectasia after refractive surgery, decrease in preoperative manifest astigmatism, and ICRs implantation considered as useful treatment option for ectasia after laser-assisted in situ keratomileusis and photorefractive keratectomy (PRK).
