Estimating Colony Size of the Wrinkle-Lipped Bat, Chaerephon plicatus (Chiroptera: Molossidae) at Gomantong, Sabah, by Quantitative Image Analysis.

The article presents a study on estimating colony size of the Wrinkle-Lipped Bat, Chaerephon plicatus at Gomantong caves in Sabah, by Quantitative Image Analysis. The findings include Gomantong caves having an informally reported bat diversity of 12 species, the assessment of the number of bats exiting the cave per unit time using stills from the video footage from 2012, and the impact of the colony on the local environment.
