RESEARCH: Sensors in micro-systems technology.

The article discusses the use of sensors in micro-systems technology to make textiles equip with intelligent functions. It discusses a research project for development of manufacturing methods for textile substrates to be equipped with microelectronic parts, which used Jacquard weaving and braiding as production methods and polyester yarns as textile substrates.
