Abstract: The article discusses research which examined the development of marine hydrate deposits by adiabatic conversion method. Topics discussed include the main known methods of recovery methane from hydrate deposits, description of the proposed method and thermodynamic processes and the method to reduce energy consumption for methane production from marine gas hydrate reservoirs.
