Abstract
- The article presents a study on the use of positive reinforcement training for captive vervet monkeys (Chlorocebus aethiops). Topics discussed include the benefits of training programmes for captive cervet monkeys such as increasing affiliative behaviors, the importance of using positive enforcement training in reducing tension directly associated with potentially stressful procedures, and how the training became an enrichment tool for cervet monkeys.
