The article focuses on the health risks faced by Canadian youths due to binge drinking. It highlights the short-term consequences associated with binge drinking such as damages to internal organs, stroke, and respiratory problems. Topics discussed include the national costs associated with binge drinking, the engagement of youth in pre-drinking, and the increase in per capita alcohol sales in Canada.
