Abstract
- The article discusses a study that assesses the outcome of an autologous vaccination procedure on single and multiple sarcoid lesions in horses, determines complication rates and report owner satisfaction. Topics discussed include selection of patients for vaccination on the basis of gender and age, use of detomidine hydrochloride and butorphanol tartrate in combination to sedate the patients and the median time to follow-up from the autologous implantation.
