Clinical pearls in dermatology.

The article presents several case studies of men and women with different skin diseases and their recommended treatments. An increased androgen sensitivity identified to cause facial acne in women can be treated with a daily dose of spironolactone. It is further suggested that severe mouth ulcers require systematic medications like colchicine and dapsone. Moreover, the forms of psoriasis, its symptoms and the use of clobetasol ointment in its treatment are discussed.
