Abstract
- The author debates on the existence of Viking helmets worn by chiefs and kings in the Viking Age, which includes Nordic voyage stories known as Norse Sagas, finding of Viking helmet in 1943 at a burial mound in Haugsbygd, Norway, and paintings of Viking sailors depicting hood and not helmet.
