The First Isolation of Campylobacter lanienae from chickens.

The article presents the study which examined the prevalence of Campylobacter (C.) jejuni, C. coli, C. lari, and C. lanienae bacteria in clinically healthy cattle, sheep and chickens. It claims that the bacteria cause acute bacterial gastroenteritis in humans. Among the methods used are sequence analysis, statistical analysis, and polymerase chain reaction (PCR).
