Abstract
- The article presents the author's views on the use of caves in fantasy motion pictures. He states that human beings are fascinated by caves which has been used as a major ingredient in films. He comments that caves can be regarded as an extension to people's mind wherein thoughts can materialize. He also discusses several motion pictures which featured caves including "La Caverne Maudite" directed by George Melies and "Plague of the Zombies" starring Jacqueline Pearce.
