Abstract

The article presents a study that determined telomere length from patients with colorectal cancer by comparing DNA preparation methods. The study examined PBL relative telomere length (RTL) measured by quantitative PCR and revealed the contribution of differences in DNA extraction method to the discrepancies between studies seeking to find an association between the risk of cancer or other diseases and RTL.
