Abstract

The article presents a study revealing the association of biomarkers of tryptophan metabolism with subsequent lung cancer risk. Tables and figures are presented showing the tryptophan degradation pathway and potential implications of 2,3-dioxygenase (IDO) induction, the baseline and clinical characteristics of study participants, and the associations between tryptophan, kynurenine, kynurenine/tryptophan (KTR), and lung cancer risks overall.
