Abstract

The article discusses a research which aims to further test the hypothesis that reverse-remodeling in nonischemic dilated cardiomyopathy is associated with changes in myocardial gene expression. It shows that changes in gene expression is associated with ventricular reverse-remodeling in response to β-adrenergic receptor (AR) antagonists. It reveals that AR genes would exhibit changes comprising a therapeutic molecular phenotype associated with ventricular reverse-remodeling.
