Dems Try A New Overture To Biz Lobby.

In an effort to combat the perception that K Street belongs exclusively to Republicans, a handful of the U.S. Senate Democrats are reaching out to Democratic aides who have become lobbyists, seeking advice on how better to promote their common policy goals and get more Democrats elected. Lobbyist, David Castagnetti said the group is useful because lobbyists are briefed on what Senate Democrats are working on and what issues are shaping up on the floor, and the lobbyists offer suggestions about how senators can improve their approach.
