Abstract
- This article discusses a study which revealed unpublished documents on the biography of the famous Italian violinmaker of the 18th century, Vincenzo Trusiano known as "Panormo," and on other members of the Trusiano family in Italy. Topics include the life of the Trusiano family in Palermo, Sicily, the move of the Trusianos to Naples in Southern Italy, and their move to Marseille first and then to Paris, France. The death of Vincenzo in London at age of 79 in March 1813 is also mentioned.
