An introduction is presented to this journal's section containing several articles in honor of retired professor of anthropology Malcolm Blincow which focus on the ethnographic aspects of political fallout and cover topics including ethnic identity in Rwanda, vendors' associations in Bolivia, and mass tourism in Egypt.
