Abstract
- The article discusses what the author refers to as a "provocateur limitation" in relation to legal cases involving deadly-force self-defense claims in America, and it mentions neighborhood watch member George Zimmerman who was acquitted after shooting and killing teenager Trayvon Martin in 2012. The concept of a "silent, subtle provocateur" who intends to provoke violence against himself or herself in order to justify the use of self-defense is mentioned, along with good faith.
