Abstract

The article describes the case of a three-year-old wire-haired fox terrier which was experiencing fever, thrombocytopenia, and crusting dermatitis. The terrier was diagnosed with canine pemphigus foliaceus (PF) with immune-mediated thrombocytopenia (IMT). It also discusses the effectiveness of systemic immunosuppressive therapy, direct immunofluorescence (IF), and the more severe pemphigus vulgaris.
