The article discusses the territorial claims made by Belgium against Germany after World War II. Among other topics addressed are the international politics among the allied nations in regards to the occupation of Germany, the history and origin of Belgian territorial claims against Germany, and the promotion of the idea of population transfers in order to remove Germans from the areas claimed by Belgium. Also described are ideas of the time for the creation of a buffer state between Germany and Belgium.
