Abstract
- A biography of editor of journal "Manuscripts" David Rogers Chesnutt is presented. He was born in 1940 in Athens, Alabama and enrolled at Auburn University after completing high school. He then transferred to the University of Alabama where he studied journalism. Other topics include Chesnutt's working as a newspaper reporter, his selection for the Laurens Papers Project, and working with "Alabama Journal". His death on December 15, 2014 at his home at the age of 74 is also mentioned.
