Abstract
- The article focuses on the political instability in which affected the country's achievements in social development such as providing basis health care, reducing child mortality and improving nutritional levels of small children. Topics discussed include the hostility between its principal parties, the Awami League and the Bangladesh Nationalist Party, (BNP) the resurgence of religiously motivated violence with the murder of American engineer and blogger Avijit Roy.
