Abstract
- The article discusses the highlights of the Bureau of International Recycling (BIR) Autumn Round-Table held in Paris, France in October 2014. Topics covered at the event include China's influence on the international stainless steel market, the state of the stainless steel sector and scrap trade in recent years, and the stainless supply picture in Asia, with China showing some of lowest scrap utilization ratios of all stainless steel-producing countries.
