Abstract
- The article discusses research on the use of digital image analysis and artificial neural networks (ANN) for estimating the physical and mechanical properties of polypropylene (PP) spunbond nonwoven fabrics. Topics explored include the various industrial applications for nonwoven fabrics, the capability of ANN to compute input variables and store data, and the prediction of areal weight and tensile strength of these fabrics.
